Restoring Old Tractors
The Men Who Started It All

How We Started
Owner and operator Dave Nelson has over 30 years experience in the auto body field. His first job was in a shop that restored Corvettes, street rods and muscle cars. Then, he set his sights on collision repair and spent over 20 years working for auto dealers including Ford, Dodge, BMW, Mercedes and Infinity.
Combining his knowledge and experience in the auto body field with his passion and understanding of antique tractors, Dave began restoring old tractors in the late 1980s. It was a hobby at first and then grew over the years into a full-time operation, allowing Dave to quit his day-job and open Agri-Crafts in 2004.In 2017, Agri-Crafts outgrew the shop Dave built on his farm outside of New Haven, Missouri. He relocated the business to a larger building in Hermann's industrial park and is able to restore large tractors like the IH row-crop tractors from the 1980s. It's an impressive facility, and you're welcome to check it out if you need help deciding where to take your tractor for restoration.
